Taiwanese officials detected as many as 28 Chinese military aircraft flying near their territory, marking a new step of aggression by the Chinese government.
Taiwan immediately sent warning messages to the aircraft to leave the area and activated its missile defense systems in that direction.
This comes after China was, for the first time in history, one of the main topics of discussion at the recent G7 summit held in England.
